Behind the scenes of planning our Ramadan special (early, I know)
I know, I know — it's only August, but Ramadan content takes real planning if you want it to feel intentional rather than rushed, so the groundwork is already starting behind the scenes, and I wanted to bring you along for once instead of just dropping the finished thing.
This year we're testing a handful of family recipes that never usually make it past our own dinner table — a few of my grandmother's dishes that I've been meaning to properly document before the details fade from memory. Recipe testing weekend alone took longer than expected, mostly because we kept eating the "failed" attempts anyway.
There's also a small daily-life series in the works, less produced than my usual uploads, more just... documenting the month as it actually happens at home. I go back and forth on how much of that to share, but the response to similar behind-the-scenes content this year convinced me it's worth doing properly.
Nothing is locked in yet, and plans always shift closer to the date, but I wanted to share the early planning stage for once rather than just the polished result. More updates as the month gets closer.
